nice
@saleeo Thank you for your kind words!
It means a lot to me!
You are simply one of the best sci-fi weapon modelers on the site, even when the weapon doesn't make sense it looks amazing.
@Greeneeroo Thank you!
Niceeeee i can see this fitting in a utopian kind of sci fi game.
@id-0 Hey! Thanks for your reply! You are absolutely right, I've never held any real weapons in my hands. And yes, the experience you can have when you have the gun IRL is unquestionable. That's actually why I dont model IRL guns, what can I show with my model if I haven't ever touched It, if I haven't ever fired it and dont know how it's made. Just mirroring the design using plans and blueprints and applying random damaged materials in SP is just not enough for my personal quality control. That's why all I can do for now is to model a concept weapons, saving the IRL stuff for later. And talking bad models, there are no good models without any bad models, as we're all people here) And the best I can do is to try and learn the new stuff, through good and bad designs and mistakes. That's how it works in my head)
Designer never held real weapons in his hands. I would see how he will shoot from this.
@moon56 You are welcome! Much appreciated! Thanks for the reply!
awesome model ! Thanks for sharing
@MandrolionForge thanks!
Very cool. :)
@PRince4 thank you!
Thanks @valterjherson1.
I forgot to say, this is also a very well done model. :)
@PRince4 Thank for your reply! According to original sketch the ring is a part of the design. It's may be unclear on how to use the weapon, but in my mind this weapon is 100% energy based, generating the energy impulse using the top and bottom metal pieces. The firing mechanism is triggered by pushing the inner ring backwards, it's supposed to be springy.
Wait, what's supposed to be the trigger in this? That ring in hole? Also how would you even reload this?
