More model informationArmour plate of a Roman parade armour. The naked male figure striding in three-quarter view to the right wears a Corinthian helmet and shoulders a tropaion. In his right hand he holds a lance. In front of him on the ground is a thymiaterion. It could be Romulus, Mars or a Dioscuri. Three rivet holes have been preserved. However, the shape and dimensions of the plate as well as the arrangement of the rivet holes cannot be associated with either one-piece or two-piece armour closure plates. Bronze; h 9,4 cm; w 5,2 cm; 2nd-3rd century AD.
