Nossa Senhora do Monte do Carmo was a Portuguese Royal Navy warship launched in Salvador de Bahir, Brasil, in 1760. See the main site here.
These anchors are located several hundred metres north of the main assemblage and were likely to have been jettisoned as the vessel crashed along the reef in 1774 in a north-westerly direction. This location was recorded by the team with the assistance of Fred Lucas, Salary Bay Diving.
The model was derived from 339 images shot with a Nikon D850 and Nikkor 14mm 2.8 ED wide angle lens in ambient light.
