@pixeldevil3d Hi there, im not sure what sort of UI you are working on, but I have not had any experience with UI before, In general I do all my material work on sketchfab itself so the source blender files only represent the mesh and animation (along with uv mapping).
For this the glass parts are just simple refraction, the pink glow parts are just simply emission + bloom , the effect around the ball (pearl) which represents an electron orbital cloud , a lot of transparency along with high specular settings which makes the flashing effects. This is primarily an effect using light and not an animated material , I hope that gives some hints for you, I can go into more detail if you want if you are wondering about anything specific
@Tycho_Magnetic_Anomaly I would love to know how you created this to get it into sketch fab. I have to grow as an artist and demonstrate more UI work with FX. This would help tremendously. In exchange, I can answer or help with anything you need.
