Roman relief medallion with hunting scene. As a decorative element on the chest ornament of a horse harness, this ornamental disc was used, which depicts a horseman scene in openwork relief. Only the figure of the rider has been completely preserved in the flat circular ring lined with pearl bars, which is broken out with the lower relief part. Dressed in a tunic and shoulder coat, he sits on the saddle blanket of the galloping horse, which is only present with its front half, and turns back to the right to thrust with his hunting spear, which is no longer present, against the hunted animal, probably a lion or a wild boar. The space between the rim ring and the figures is filled by the twisted branches of two or even three trees. Bronze; dm 16,5 cm; 1st-2nd century AD.
