More model informationA passion project of mine as I spent many hours playing my Game Boy Color as a kid. The aim for this project was to keep the final model as low poly as possible whilst maintaining enough geometry to assist the normal map. I also wanted this to feel as if it was nearly 20 years old but had been kept in nearly pristine condition having been recently wiped clean leaving water marks across the screen. The whole model was created and baked in 3ds Max 2016 then textured in Quixel Mixer with the height maps being created manually in Photoshop.
