Two comments:
1) It may be low-poly, but you did an amazing job! Looks totally real. Would absolutely use it in a game, fantasy or otherwise!
2) You've mislabeled it. The correct name is "ball-and-chain flail" or "kettenmorgenstern" (DE: "chain morning star") not a mace. A mace is a single piece, basically an iron/steel club. A morning star is a single-piece weapon, essentially a mace with a spiked ball (as shown).
