3D Model
3D scan of a Terror-bird model from the species Paraphysornis brasiliensis. Members of the Phorusrhacidae family are commonly known under the term “Terror-birds”. Species of these apex predators could reach a height up to 3 meters! They lived mainly in South America from the early Tertiary (55 million years ago) until the late glacial period.
This model can be found in Hall 9 at the NHM Vienna.

@Enzi1984 Hi Christian and thank you! Great work on the STL file of the Terror Bird for Thingiverse. You can publish more of the scans on Thingiverse, as we do not plan to be active on there in the near future. It would be great if you could comment the link to your Thingiverse files underneath the respective 3D models as you did here so we can see them! As we also 3D print ourselves we would be happy to see final 3D prints, so let us know if you should print something
