Saif Goleudy Whitford Point ar ben gogledd-orllewinol Gŵyr, yn Ne Cymru. Dyma’r unig oleudy haearn bwrw sydd wedi’i ysgubo gan donnau yn y DU. Adeiladwyd y goleudy ym 1865 i nodi’r heigiau oddi ar Drwyn Chwitffordd yn Aber Afon Tywyn, NPRN 34289 https://coflein.gov.uk/cy/safle/34289/
Mae gwaelod y goleudy hefyd yn dioddef o erydiad gan y môr ac yn cael ei danseilio. Cofnodwyd y goleudy gan CBHC ar 17/08/2023 i gasglu gwybodaeth sylfaenol i ddeall cyfradd yr erydiad.
Whitford Point Lighthouse stands on the north-west tip of the Gower, in South Wales. It is the only surviving cast-iron wave-swept lighthouse in the UK. The lighthouse was built in 1865 to mark the shoals off Whiteford Point in the Burry Estuary, NPRN 34289 https://coflein.gov.uk/en/site/34289/
The base of the lighthouse is also suffering from erosion by the sea and is being undermined. The lighthouse was recorded by the RCAHMW on 17/08/2023 to gather baseline information to understand the rate of erosion.

@hfenton Thanks for sharing your model of the lighthouse. Its really informative to see a model from 2018 to compare the erosion as it helps to understand the rate at which material is being lost.
Great model, really interesting looking at the erosion on the apron around the lighthouse compared to when I visited and created a model five years ago. sketchfab.com/3d-models/whiteford-lighth...
