Cute Chibi Character – Heromi

This is a model of one of my characters “Heromi,” chibi-fied and beholding a cluster of stars.

I really enjoyed working on the chibi Asuka Langley model from before, and wanted to do something similar for this. I enjoy making models that are cute and expressive and so this project was another self-indulgence for me style-wise haha.

Like all my previous models, this one was a huge learning experience as I started using Substance Painter for the first time! Prior to this I haint-painted all my textures in Photoshop, but I finally got around to learning Substance and seeing first hand just how quick and powerful it is. This model had very simple textures, but I’m hoping to work on something more complex next!
