Alternative title is “Textured Game Environment Redux”. I started this project for a school assignment, but due to various circumstances was unable to finish it at the time. For this exhibition, I decided to go back and complete it, adding detailed textures. The original assignment involved creating an environment and using lights to display it in Sketchfab, so I decided to model a porch heavily based on the house I was living in at the time and used emissive maps and a point light to create the lighting. I took reference pictures of the porch myself and modeled and did the Uv’s for this project in Maya. Then, I created the textures with Adobe Substance Painter. I used Adobe Photoshop to do the welcome mat’s lettering.
