A 3D sketch can be a great way to communicate the wireframe of a 3D scene in the early stages while avoiding the lengthy process of building rough 3D scenes.
It can also eliminate the misinterpretations that sometimes come from presenting 2D illustrations to represent 3D space.
The quick nature of a 3D sketch (drawn in Feather 3D) can allow you to showcase more design options and make edits to the overall scene without the extensive production or render times.
It can allow you to showcase different camera angles and focal lengths.
3D sketches can be a great way to help streamline the 3D design and motion design process.
I’ve recently started using a 3D sketching technique in 3D workflows. I’m always looking for ways to keep the creative process efficient.
Keep practicing and creating :-)
