Greek Theater of Heloros3D Model
Located in the southern sloped of the hill, in the terrace underneath the sacred area, the theater, originally with a cavea counting 5 sectors with at least 12-15 steps, sided by radial staircases and likely a stage building in masonry, was significantly damaged by the excavation of the canal currently set along the entire southenr side of the Heloros plateau. Hypothetetically dated to the Hellenistic period, it could house an audience of over 1200 spectators.
This digital asset has been produced as part of the collaborative research project aimed at re-discovering of ancient Heloros via the application of remote sensing, geophysical prospecting and digital storyrelling (P.I.s Davide Tanasi and Rosa Lanteri).
3D model produced in aerial ldigital photogrammetry emplyiong a DJI Test-Pro, 24mm F 2.8, capturing 152 photographs with a resolution of 4048x3032 pixels (density 72 dpi), 24 Bit sRGB, processed with Agisoft Metashape v. 1.8.0 build 13257. Post-production was completed with Geomagic Wrap 2021.
