“My great-grandfather was a well-known goldsmith and artisan. He had a passion for his craft, and he abhorred war, believing that one should use their hands not to take lives in mere seconds, but to create something that could last for ages.

Then war broke out, and he refused to use his knowledge to manufacture weapons. Then, our good emperor forced him to obey, pointing out how many other artisans just like him were eager to help our country’s war effort. In the end, he still poured all of his love and passion in every weapon he helped forging. But I can tell, every time he completed a blade like this one, a small part of his heart died.
