These furniture pieces were all handmade by the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter. The documentation of President Carter's woodworking and craftsmanship is part of a 3D archival program being undertaken by the Center for Digital Heritage and Geospatial Information in the University of South Florida Libraries in collaboration with the Carter Family, the National Park Service, and the Friends of the Jimmy Carter. Many of the pieces in this collection are from the Carter home in Plains, Georgia.
