More model informationThis model shows a fold in the permotriassic sequence northwest of Villarué in the province Huesca in Spain. The eyelike form is created by the fold being eroded on the slope in such a way that the syncline is in the slope and gets cut out. The layering of the sequence therfore follows around the slope and leads to the remarkable form of the outcrop.
