Inter-tidal shipwreck remains of the three-masted schooner SILOAM, lost on 20th February 1892 at Nolton Haven in Pembrokeshire. The SILOAM was a 93ft long, three-masted schooner, on route from Duddon in Cumbria to Briton Ferry in South Wales with a cargo of iron ore.
Pieces of the cargo can still be found amoungst the rocks and are notable for their weight and colour (red), compared to the normal beach pebbles. A few pieces of ironwork (like this one) and plank fragments buried amongs the rocks are all that survives of the ship.
The SILOAM is also listed in the National Monuments Record of Wales (NPRN273000) https://coflein.gov.uk/en/site/273000/
