Its not possible to say that without proper info from your side. Totally depends upon your usage scenario and budget.
@drsoulp sorry for the late reply but theres no "best" out there. There's always some better than the other. For pure gaming I think ryzen is better. But for all purposes, Intel. Server CPUs are also great (if you have the money) like a Ryzen Threadripper Pro.
