The white stripe rises from the lower extremity in an irregular set of steps to the neck while circling the object twelve times. The thread is flush with the surface. The object transforms from a square cross-section at the foot to a round cross-section at the shoulder. The rim edge is squared off. The neck was broken and repaired with glue. The foot is augmented with a broken glob of black glass.
