More model informationThe Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a four-engine heavy bomber developed in the 1930s for the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC). Competing against Douglas and Martin for a contract to build 200 bombers, the Boeing entry outperformed both competitors and exceeded the air corps’ performance specifications (Sources Wikipiedia)

@calalalala What should work?
does it work
@DonnieAllen Thx :)
Very nice work. Thank you.
@flightOne Thanks
And yes, times do change. When you see B17s that used to come in with the tail fin missing or even worse....Today a hole the size of a 1 Euro coin and the plane drops like a stone lol
What a beautiful model! Many thanks for sharing. B17s flew many missions from the WW2 airbases dotted around Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. The US cemetery at Madingley near Cambridge is a sombre (and striking) memorial to the many aircrew who lost their lives on these missions.
Times change: Today Boeing appears to have difficulty attaching the main doors.
@SuperGamerGuardSPT hank you
The pleasure is mine
This looks so wonderfully detailed. Thanks for making it free!
@SRTPerformance Thank you so much. To be honest, I have already continued this model but currently only for FlightGear
I haven't taken the time to update on SketchFab yet
The B-17 Fortress is an iconic piece of art, even today, It was a impressive fast bomber for the time.
The maker Boeing still stands as the Best and most popular Aircraft Brand..
This model you made still needs some editing as the rear wheel is floating, and it is missing some parts.
This model is still great tho!
Great Job!
@Ethan6609 Your welcome
Thx
Thank you for making this free
@LasquetiSpice Thx
Thank you for creating the amazing models! I have used some of them in this free Bombers of WW2 app:

There's an attribution to you at the bottom of the main screen - tap on it and access your Sketchfab profile.
Cheers! Gerry
@ethanalp
the B50 is only a re-motorized B29. Unfortunately the B29 is already available in FlightGear ( wiki.flightgear.org/Fr/Boeing_B-29_Super... ) and I avoid duplicating.
Nice B-17. I was wondering if you could make the B-50 Superfortress (The one used to carry the Bell X-1 and other experimental jets). Thanks. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_B-50_Superf...
@Krautregen What kind of precision are you talking about? Dimensions?
How accurate are these models?
@fuhrerofthereich123 a p51, I m sorry but not. I created my models for FlightGear and I avoid duplicates as much as possible. The P51 already exists for this opensource simulator.
i love ur planes, can you please make a P51?
