This plaster lobster is an architectural ornament from the Fisheries Building at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, at Chicago, Illinois. Oregon’s DeMoss Family Bards performed at the World’s Fair. After the fair, when the buildings were taken down, George Lizzie and Minnie DeMoss brought this souvenir back to Oregon.
