Many thanks. I still have a lot to learn
@konradkern Red and Green are the X and Y axes, blue is the Z axis.
@hugoandersonwhymark Thanks. I was able to figure out the answer from another help thread. Blue axis up. Do you know what the red and green axis indicate?
Hi @konradkern, Have you used the 'straighten model' options in Settings > 3D Settings? If you click the show advanced rotation settings it's easy to level models so they rotate correctly. For sites it's always best to get the model entirely level otherwise it spins on an axis. And yes, I'm quite far north!
Very interesting. I'm having difficulty getting my 3D models to rotate. I'm uploading an .obj file from a drone image formation processor. The SketchFab model looks OK, but it will not rotate. It will tilt and even flip over, but it will not rotate. Help?
OBTW, you live a long ways north. I used to fly up to Tain and RAF Leuchars.
Fascinating! I visited Skara Brae several years back, but it is great to be able to "enter" the houses and see them from the perspective of the original inhabitants.
Thanks! @alban It's always great to get a staff pick.
I really enjoy this Skara Brae series, you get my staff pick for this one too.
