@sindrearn beautiful! I wrote a paper on this stave church, and Borgund stavkyrkje, when I was an architecture student. I also attempted to model it by hand, as one of my first 3D models.
Sorry for the stupid question : of course the roofs are so steep that you needn't to overfly, all the pictures must have been shot from the ground with a few steps back !

Truly brilliant..it should be a national effort to record the stave churches in the finest detail as possible for future generations!

So far we haven't used a drone, but our next project will. Sadly we are all out of flying elves..
Oups, I see that you don't have fairies up there, but only (flying) elves... :)
Ah, I use a 14-24mm, quite similar !
And are you aquainted with the northen fairies, so that you can overfly the whole thing on your own wings

@gerpho Thank you, yes Norway has a lot to offer.
I use a Canon D7 with a 10-20mm lens.
Wow, you really have beautiful houses in your country !
Amazing !
BTW, what did you use to do the shoting ?
@Alexbsoft Standing 26 (85 feet) meters tall, it certainly is.
