41VV0078 - Painted Shelter3D Model
Painted Shelter is a multicomponent archaeological site, housed within a large rockshelter in the Lower Pecos Canyonlands. A permanent spring-fed stream runs at the base of the main rock art panel. This site is famous for Red Monochrome style pictographs. Remnant Pecos River figures are still visible above the Red Monochrome figures. At the upstream end of the site, Pecos River and Red Linear pictographs are present, as well as unidentfied styles. This 3D model was processed from nearly 4,000 photographs taken by Mark Willis.
