Angel head from the late 1700s. Made of carved wood and plaster. Face and hair painted. The head comes from a bathhouse in a building called Mariedal at Kungsholmen in Stockholm. The building is from the 18th century and the bathhouse was created when the house was rebuilt in the mid 1800’s. The head was transferred to the City Museum’s collections in 1935 together with a few other items from the bathhouse.
The head has the inventory number SSM 2023:7 in the City Museum Collection.
