More model informationExperimental 3D model of a single facing stone from the north face of Hadrian’s Wall at Heddon on the Wall. The model was made from three close-up digital photos in order to demonstrate the diagonal toolmarks of a Roman stone-mason. Scale-bar above stone is 30cm long. The stone can be seen in context in my 3D model of the section of Wall (top course, 3 from the left). It sticks up a bit higher, and has little surface weathering, so makes me wonder if it really is in its original location.
