More model informationJames Price’s kiln was built at Port Arthur Tasmania in 1886 to produce a range of pipes, tiles and decorative domestic wares. The kiln fell into disuse after Price’s death in 1912. I believe that this is a downdraught kiln of the type found in Staffordshire England, but I am happy to be corrected. The model was uploaded some time ago and reworked to add the interior. I have added some annotations which can be controlled or disabled from the bottom menu.

Hi, This is great example. Is there a way we can have the.glb file of this kiln? We would like to use it for exhibitions in our library.
Thomas, thanks for the comments and suggestion. I have uploaded a new version of the model and added some annotations. I have also made an attempt to set it up for VR but can't check it - must get myself a headset sometime.
Great work - would love an annotated tour to take me inside and show me around. You could set it up for VR viewing easily too: help.sketchfab.com/hc/en-us/articles/211...
What a beauty! Excellent work.
