I take a look at the character(Slayer's Sunwell Battlegear,war craft),it seem there is a major problem with polygons. They convert to triangular shape (not the original mesh of character)which you could not put it to symmetry mode in order to rigged back to T pose,it take a lot of time to change it back to normal pose easier for you to remake the character.+ the armor shape not designed for T pose.
