@norgeotloic Thanks you! Always to see the models used by other people! :)
Hello Geoffrey.
As usual, great scan!
I stuck this mosquito in an amber fragment - Jurassic Park style - and must say I am super proud of the result ( skfb.ly/6xWCO if you wish to have a look ) :D
Thanks again for the download!
@agisoft This sounds great! The wings were a bit shaddy. It could be awesome if the new mesh generation can reconstruct this kind of thin surfaces! Looking forward for the tutorial!
Hello Geoffrey,
In the version 1.4 PhotoScan there's new mesh generation method implemented (should be turned on in the Preferences), it should generate more complete model for thin surfaces (we have already tested it on the same model). Soon we'll publish a tutorial related to the feature with some examples.
@bigbirdtommy You are welcome ;)
Doh! Now I notice the GIANT blue download link. :) Thanks! @geoffreymarchal ! I'll start tinkering with them...
@bigbirdtommy thanks you very much! Indeed these pictures are amazing. Most of the photo set does have a link to download a .zip file containing all the pictures ;).
Those ZooSphere datasets are amazing! Thanks for the intro to them! They would also be a great repository for training a Machine Learning model for ID'ing those same insects in the wild... I feel some tinkering coming on.... :)
That is fantastic. Is there any automated way to download from ZooSphere? (API?)
It would be fun to auto run a large number of these models.
