More model information24/09/2020: For Blender 2.8 users and above: It seems the riggs are not displayed, because this was made with older versions (and layers), so, in order to pose the models you need to >> enable in display<< the collection with the riggs in the collections tab ;)
Here is a modiffication of Alexander Lee’s female rig I made with blender, solving some rig issues and making a male model. Usefull as posable reference manequin or other pourposes.

Really impressive rig, works just fine for me in blender 4.0
@intrepidolivia Thanks my man
Hello! These models look really awesome and I wanted to use them, but either the .blend file is broken or I'm doing something wrong.
I work with Blender 3.0.1 but I also tested out earlier versions and none were able to even open the file.
Is there a way to fix it?
Very cool, thanks
I left the below comment and then learned a couple more things: one of which being that saving the file as-is doesn't seem to work; re-opening the file again makes the models totally warped. I reorganized the scene hierarchy so that the file can now be edited, modified, and re-opened in Blender 3+. I hope this is okay with the model author; please let me know if you'd like me to take it down:

Wonderfully sophisticated IK posing, a great tool for a beginner like me.
Unfortunately the way Blender imports pre-2.8 projects doesn't make it easy for beginners like me to navigate this scene. But I finally figured out how to pose the figures in Blender 3.6, with the following steps:
1. Find 'rig' and 'rig.001' in the Scene Collection hierarchy.
2. For each of these rigs, click on the 'Data' tab (looks like a little stick figure)
3. Click 'Pose Position'
4. Unclick the 'Shapes' checkbox.
Then the rig should appear as octahedrals, and the pose can be modified when in Pose Mode. Of note to newbies is the IK on each of the limbs to maintain the constraints of human muscle movement. Really nice!
How can I use the rig? I cannot use the rig in the original blend file because I get the error 'Cannot change pose when rest pose in enabled' but when I switch to Pose Position the mesh deforms and isn't human any more. The other file types have rigs that aren't usable either. I've spent 2 hours trying to get this to work and just can't. Maybe I'm just noob but I want to get the rig to work so bad and it's just not working
amazing rig! thanks to share!
@Dangler1900 it was created on an older version of blender
>I am not able to enable viewport visibility.
create a new workspace (default is general/layout)
>I can't see the rig
select the rig
panel on the right / object data properties/viewport display/disable shapes
Can I purchase this model, rigged? Thanks!
is it still available for Download?
hi, i can't download the file. could you upload again please?
@betalars If you click "More model information", it is still CC BY. Though what I wonder is: where is the download button? D: @dacancino
Is it intentional, that it's no longer listed as creative commons?
First of all, thanks for sharing these models!
I imported the model in Blender 3.0 and I can't see the rig and also am not able to enable viewport visibility.
I only can see this stretched "pyramide" named "rig_rootJoint"
Can someone help me on that?
Thanks!
Can I use it in my art?
Really nice, I plan on using this for indie game ;)
Hi! Thanks for the rigs. I'm trying to use it, but I can't figure it out how to see the rig :(
Hi i just downloaded blender and I wanted to use these to help create scenes that I could use as perspective reference for my illustrations. The only thing is im like a newborn in blender and I have no idea how to enable the rigs so I can see them D: Can someone try to explain to me how I can do this?
@Yale.Waller This rig was made with the old layers system. So, you need to >> enable in display<< the collection with the riggs in the collections tab ;)
this isn't rigged?
Cool thanks! This will be super helpful as a ref.
