I'm going to use this in the remastered version of "Star Trek IV: Resurrection" for a shot at Utopia Planitia, one of the VFX shots is to show a Vesta-class starship prepping for trial runs, and she's surrounded by shuttles and work bees for an inspection. I can think of no better way to pay homage to the ILM than to add this into the background just like they did in First Contact. Great work!
Thanks, this is an amazing blend file. I'm using it to make a reference scene for my painting that I'm going to hang up in my room. Thank you Stym for your amazing skills and thanks for the amazing 3d object :)
@ticojour this model is under the Creative Commons license which states “ You are free to:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material
for any purpose, even commercially.” so yes you can use this in a school project. The only restriction is you cannot do anything legally with it: such as try to get a copyright on it. A lot of people don’t answer their comments so I wanted to make sure you received one! If you liked this model, I made a remix of it without the landing gear free to download. If you are interested it is on my sketchfab profile! Hope all goes well!
