The Chiguéou II site, located in the south-western sector of the Ennedi, was first reported in 1956 by Gérard Bailloud, who documented two large engraved cattle figures, which coats are decorated by intricate geometric motifs. One of the two figures documented by this oustanding archaeologist is found on the eastern side of the Chiguéou II natural arch. Reference: The Chiguéou II rock art site revisited (Ennedi, Chad).
