Modeled in 3ds Max, texturized in Substance Painter.
Produced between 1857 and 1882, the Model 1 was the first firearm manufactured by Smith & Wesson and the first revolver available to fire rimfire cartridges.
Approximately 20cm (~7.5”) long, it features a 7-round cylinder and shoots cal. .22 short blackpowder bullets.
Of this gun have been produced 3 variants, but the 1st is the least common, with approximately only 12,000 units produced over a period of three years against the 120,000 of the second issue and the 131,000 of the third issue.
I tried to make it very faithful to the real Model, but it was a bit difficult to find good images and references. Since there are some discrepancies I chose to write an out of range model number on the bottom side of the handle.
