2 years ago, while in college, one of my assignments was to make 2 props based on a character concept. With a friend, we created a dark version of Red Riding Hood and I made the props to go with it. However, I was just a wee lil baby in the 3D world and the models were really, really bad. So, I decided to remake them!
I made these models from scratch (except the basket’s handle, which I kept from the original with minor modifications), and tried to make it as faithful to the original as possible. The models are more optimized (1K tris less), the normal maps are way better, the textures were made with more care and no seams are visible this time!
Models made in Blender, and textures in Substance Painter, with some help of Bounding Box’s Materialize, to turn the woven basket image texture into a full texture, with proper normal maps.
You can laugh at the original models here: https://skfb.ly/6YT9C
