Catan Card Game - by Eleni Balaska3D Model
This is a 2-4 player card game adaptation of the board game edition, initially named “The Settlers of Catan” (Die Siedler von Catan). It was processed through Agisoft Metashape Professional software. Invented by the German designer Teuber in the mid-1990s, the original board game had instant success in Germany. Catan is available in an online platform (Playcatan.com) as well, however the game is mostly appreciated in the analog version of the nearly eighty variations, including expansions and special editions. Catan is an empire-building game involving interaction among the players. The card game is played with cards placed side by side so as to create settlement structures of an imaginary landscape. It places the players in an era of discoveries, and particularly the discovery of an island called Catan aiming to settle and expand across it. They thus use and trade the resources of the island (sheep, wheat, wood, clay, and ore) to build various settlements and reach the goal of ten victory points.
