More model informationThis soft-mud type brick from the foundations of St. John’s Episcopal Church in downtown Tallahassee, Florida, has a handprint where it was touched during drying sometime in the late 1830’s. One of the first churches constructed during Florida’s Terriorial period (1821-1845), members of St. John’s Episcopal included Richard Keith Call, Francis Eppes, and William Easton Randolph. This brick is part of the State of Florida’s Archaeological Collections and is currently on exhibit at the Grove Museum.
