Luxor Temple, Hall of Offerings, LE VIII
LE VIII is the east wall of the Hall of Offerings, in Luxor Temple. It consists of 4 registers (including upper frieze motifs) and has a total of 19 scenes.
In 2018, artist Jay Heidel from the Epigraphic Survey started detailed epigraphic documenation of this wall using a completely digital approach. These two models are evaluative trials to assess joining multiple scenes for publishing in both traditional 2D (Book) & 3D formats. They consist of the bottom two registers of the wall, containing 8 scenes. 3 of these scenes have been penciled, 1 scene is mid-pencil, 1 scene awaits pencil, while 3 others have been pencilled and inked and are at various stages of the collation process.
