More model informationThis life size mannequin of Tutankhamen was recovered from the antechamber of his tomb where it was sitting behind a pile of gilded chariot parts. The mannequin is wood covered with plaster/gesso and painted. It is currently on display in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo, Egypt.
Created from 126 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T5i and T7i) using Metashape 1.6.1. It was photographed in January 2018 and January 2020. The top of the crown was not captured adequetly enough during the photography and so is infilled with a solid color.
