More model informationRight next to Gråborg lies the ruins of Sankt Knuts Chapel. The chapel was built in the 12th century and abandoned in the 16th century and its only bell was confiscated to the crown of 1560. Today, only the western gable and the triumphal arch remain. A stave crusher is now in Algutsrums church, as well as an altar cabinet which is one of the largest in Öland. The chapel building has probably been surrounded by a small cemetery, both skeletons and gravestones have been found nearby.
