Semantically-enriched synthetic model and optimized trajectory for reconstructing the centered building with an unmannend aerial vehicle (UAV). The optimized trajectory accounts for geometric obstacles and semantic restrictions on the airspace (here: avoids flyovers on other buildings (red), cars (yellow) and partially allows airspaces above the street (gray). The optimized trajectory is able to find a reasonable path with camera viewpoints for reconstructing the building while accounting for restricted airspaces and finding a suitable and short path for traversing the road in an efficient manner. The automated acquired images can be used for a high-resolution 3D reconstruction of the building.
