3D map of 3951 earthquake foci between 35.533 and 35.828 lat and -117.347 and -117.717 lon (about 32 km^2 in Southern California) occurring between 2019-07-04T16:07:20.450Z and 2019-07-09T17:34:44.230Z including the mag 6.4 and 7.1 events in early July of 2019. Seismic events are represented by spheres with volumes that are proportional to the energy released with the smallest (mag 0.5) = 0.00792km in diameter and the largest (mag 7.1) = 16.768 km in diameter (scaled so for visibility). Foreshocks to the mag 6.4 event are shown in green (9), the mag 6.4 event and earthquakes in between the mag 6.4 and 7.1 events (1633) are in blue, and the mag 7.1 event and its aftershocks (2306 in this model) are shown in red. 809 of the events include a plotted focal mechanism (beachball diagram).
