This is the 3rd version of the Saitama 3D character models that I have been working on over the past few weeks. I have learned a lot from creating this character, and am quite OK with the result. More 3D character designs will follow. :)
The initial high-resolution mesh was first sculpted using ZBrush, then ZRemeshed to create the 1st pass of retopology, which was then simplified and adjusted in Maya to make it cleaner and more game-ready. After the model was constructed in the “A-pose”, I used Maya’s built-in Human IK feature to set up the joints, skin the model, apply the rig, and pose the character.
