We have a new 3D printer at our school. Would it be possible to be able to download this image or any other image you think would be good as a test run. We hope to be able to take our own 3D images of coral and print them as well to investigate coral health for my marine science class.
Is it possible to make these available for download? As a developer I can imagine using these to create science games in Unity for the public. It would be great to process the geo through software like Zbrush and/or Max and retopologize it to make highly accurate low poly real-time game/sim assets. I helped make a STEM game for 5th graders that enabled them to explore a coral reef; but our source material was nowhere near quality.
