@ebmclachlan Hi, in this case I try use Knald for normal map on grass, for terrain normal map 3dsMax and for mini plants normal map i use Quixel... So a combination of different softwares....
Are you doing like multi angle to normal in substance or something? What's your process?

@alkalia.alkalia Hi, I thing cutout transpancy will by best. All you need to do is put diffuse.jpg and alfa.jpg texture together. I use for this Photoshop. Diffuse texture ocupies RGB chanell and alfa texture go to Alpha chanell. Save as psd or tga format. Unity expects transparency in the alpha channel...
i simply can not figure out how to do the transparency of the grass in unity.. i have tried all i knew, cutout, transparency, fade... please help me
