More model informationMacBeth’s Stone is a large menhir situated in the grounds of Belmont Castle, near Meigle, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Cupmarks are found along it surfaces (annotated and best seen in matcap). Anotation 3 are seen more closely in my other model of MacBeth’s Stone cupmarks detail.
One tradition states the monolith was erected on the spot where MacBeth was slain, while another maintains it marks the grave of a hero slain by MacBeth. Canmore classifies this standing stone as prehistoric (Canmore ID 30824).
